Peres Center for Peace - Training Doctors
Due to limited opportunities for medical staff in the Palestinian Authority, this project aims to strengthen the Palestinian healthcare system by providing advanced training opportunities for Palestinian doctors and medical personnel in Israeli hospitals. The project also gardens personal relations between Israeli and Palestinian doctors, who share a common language of ethics medical professionalism.
Since the beginning of 2014, it is our Ulpan team who is responsible for the Hebrew training of the Palestinian doctors. The project is an ongoing story of success.

We use the news in all our lessons. It helps greatly to understand the changes of the language and to develop the ability to read and follow the news in Israel with a sense of critical thinking. This is highly useful in a country full of complex socio-political situations.
