The project we are most proud of with "Peres Center for Peace" has ended with an a group hug with Peres. After teaching a group of Palestinian doctors for 2 intensive months, in the most intensive Hebrew course ever conducted, we have said a beautiful good bye. Couldn't me more proud.

Meeting Peres!
One of our most interesting projects is the result of a collaboration between the Israeli health system and the Palestinian one. We - Ulpan Bayit's teachers, are conducting a very intensive Hebrew course (of 8 hours per day) for two months, in order to prepare the doctors to a full time training in Israeli hospitals. Sometimes we are the first encounter with real Israelis, and we are proud to represent the peace loving side of our country, and to take part in a fascinating process that creates beautiful collaborations. Peace :)
Hanuka Celebration
This year we have built a DIY Menorah (Hanukiya), sang Hanuka songs (in Hebrew), enjoyed some alternative interpratations to the Hanuka celebration and its reasons, and had our stomach filled with dough.
A huge thanks has to go to Shira Z. Carmel, our very talented teacher who is a unique singer and writer, with a heavenly voice and the most amazing fashion sense (non the less, she is just an outstanding Hebrew teacher who has dozens of student-fans).
Cooking in Hebrew with Omer
Omer, our Aleph+ teacher, decided to have a Hebrew cooking lesson. So - together with his amazing class, they cooked a delicious dinner - and did it all in Hebrew. The learned all the important kitchen Hebrew phrases, nouns and verbs, and used their new vocabulary together while cooking. The food was delicious, the team spirit was on, and the cooperation had some fantastic resaults!

Shira, our singer song writer teacher, have organized this amazing sing a long for Rosh HaShana. Some wine, gefillte fish, pomegranate, and some other traditional delights, together with a fantastic gathering has led to a fantastic evening at the Ulpan!
